The METSA Users' Day brings together all the committees of this CNRS research federation to discuss the evolution of the network, review its progress and attend several scientific presentations illustrating work carried out thanks to this federation.
The day's program will be divided into 3 sessions:
- The first session will provide an update on the network's operations, and will include time for exchanges with users.
- The second session will present the network's latest developments.
- The third session will be devoted to scientific presentations by users, who will be invited to illustrate the experiments carried out on each platform.
About METSA
The FR CNRS 3507 METSA was set up by the CNRS and the CEA in conjunction with the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research to create a network of high-level Electron Microscopy and Atom Probe Tomography Platforms. This network of 9 platforms offers free access for users (2 to 5 days' experience) via 2 calls for projects per year (mid-May and mid-November).
The 9 METSA platforms include: 14(S)TEM, 5 MEB-FIB, 3 APT.
Since its creation in 2009, METSA has hosted some 950 experiments.
